Puppy Pick Up Day

You will receive an email from calendly allowing you to choose a time slot to pick up your puppy. We schedule puppy pickups on the hour and need to stay as much on schedule as possible, as to not overlap and to be able to provide you with the best experience to begin life with your new puppy. If any issue arises that you will not be able to be here at the time you chose, please call us right away so we can plan accordingly. We will always do everything we can to make things easy for you.

You will receive a puppy packet with these items included:
1. Health Certificate prepared by our state veterinarian
2. Health Guarantee and Purchase Agreement
3. UABR (United All Breed Registry) litter registration form
4. Microchip registration form
5. Health Record including Vaccine and Deworming Schedule for your        Veterinarian 
6. Leash and collar
7. Small blanket with mom's scent
8. Toy
9. Samples of Diamond Naturals Large Breed Puppy Dog Food and NuVet Immune System Support

Shipping

Our preference is that you pick up your puppy at our farm (we LOVE meeting you and your family!), but we understand that isn't always possible. We just want you to be aware of the drawbacks and conditions of shipping before you make that decision. With all the changes in shipping, it is best to discuss this in-depth with Gary.  

We can ship by air to most places in the continental United States. However, there are a few things you need to be aware of:
1. You will need to give us your first and second choice of airports. We will check to confirm that the airport accepts pet shipments, typically international airports. Puppies are shipped "Priority Parcel" and picked up in the cargo section.
2. Based on USDA regulations, the temperature cannot exceed 85 degrees or drop below 20 degrees at any point in the transport (origination, lay-overs or destination). If the temperature is too hot or too cold, the puppy's flight will be cancelled by the airline. In that case, we can try to get the puppy rerouted, we can hold the puppy over for a week, or you can come pick him (or her) up. It can be a very difficult problem to work around.

Diet

Talk with your veterinarian to determine which brand of food is best for your puppy. It is imperative the puppy is kept on a large breed puppy formula for optimal development. We feed Diamonds Natural Large Breed Puppy Food.
